As Freemarket is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), we take our regulatory responsibilities very seriously, and all of our clients must go through the necessary verification checks.
If you have surplus funds on your account you may receive an automated notification asking you to ‘Withdraw Balance’. If this happens, don’t be alarmed, it just means we need you to go through our re-verification process.
The process happens periodically and requires every client to submit their documents for our Compliance team to review so the account can be approved. Once approved, the option to withdraw the funds will be available again.
