Freemarket earns Pay360 Awards finalist status for second year running

25 July 2024, London, UK. Freemarket, a leading London-based fintech platform for B2B cross-border payments and currency exchange, announced today that it is a finalist in this years Pay360 Awards for best international payments, remittance, or use of FX. A panel of 70 judges selected our solution from a large number of entrants. In October, the winner will be announced.

The nomination underscores the company’s commitment to breaking down the barriers to international trade and remittance. The fact that we have been selected as a finalist by a panel of judges speaks volumes about the quality and impact of our solutions to help businesses better manage global liquidity, FX rates, and real-time prices in a single view and platform.

Being listed as finalists follows several accolades for Freemarket in 2023, including ranking in the top 10 in the Sunday Times Fastest Growing UK Private Companies (up from 12th in 2022) and being recognised by the People’s Platform Awards as one of the most impactful companies to work for in the UK. The company is also ranked in the current Deloitte Tech Fast 50 rankings and in the FT 1000, this latter ranking recognising businesses that continue to flourish and expand in today’s challenging economic climate.

Commenting on the nomination, Alex Hunn, Founder and CEO of Freemarket, said: “We are honoured to have been recognised by the Pay360 Awards in this category for the second year running. Our vision is to create a world where every company has the freedom to do business across borders, so we are delighted to be recognised for our work to achieve this alongside other fantastic companies in the payments industry.”
